The summary of the project:
Development:
In mid-February 2022, Natalia (Regional Marketing Head of Ingram Micro Poland) approached me with a request for a commercial for a series of RFID* devices they were distributing.
*RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) uses radio waves to wirelessly track and identify objects via small tags. For example, it’s used in retail to quickly scan and manage inventory.
Soon I jumped on a call with Natalia, Paweł (Product Manager of Ingram Micro Poland) and Michał (Business Unit Manager of Ingram Micro Poland). We had brainstorming session on the vision for our new video.
A few days later, I came back to them with a few more structured ideas. We chose the best one. A week later, I returned with the completed script. Following a few rewrites, the script was accepted. Then we had started the real job!
Preproduction:
Setting the budget, figuring out the number of shooting days, engaging the film crew, casting, location scouting, finding or making film props, looking for the guns, cars and even helicopter! And many, many more... just for our little movie haha
This process was done in cooperation of film crew and the client. It was a lot of fun and everyone could feel like they were part of the team and a part of our new film!
SHOOTING:
The most anticipated moment has arrived – shooting days (from 5th of April till 7th of April).
Everybody was excited. We had started from the scene in a Warehouse.
In shooting there were involved 16 people, 14 locations, 6 cars, 1 helicopter and a lot of guns :)

POSTPRODUCTION:
Postproduction was 2 weeks period - we did editing, sound designing, color grading, visual effects. Then we had revisions. In total it took us 3 weeks. By the end of the April we've had ready movie.
END RESULT:
Last but not least - the end result! Everyone was happy to take part in a project that would not only increase their sales but also broaden their horizons, help them integrate better, and provide lasting memories for years to come.
Our movie had premiere on Ingram Micro 2023 Conference, with clients and vendors, in September. All hall were engaged and laughing. In the break, a lot of people came to us (Ingram Micro team and Me) and congratulate us and asked many questions about our production and more about RFID technology.
